6.14 | NFL Invasion @ Xanadu

Calling all groupies & football fans....
Tonight (6.14.08), Konan, Lana Rae, The KIS Models, and Jason Murphy of the Tennessee Titans host...NFL Invasion @ Xanadu (10 S. Calvert St). This is the afterparty for Jason Murphy's Holding the Line Community Football Camp, and they are claiming to bring 30+ NFL players to the spot (the groupies are screaming right now I'm sure...)
But in all seriousness, this event is for a good cause since a portion of the profits will be donated to the Holding The Line Charity Foundation.
Sounds pretty fab to me, so stop thru!

"She Got It" Tonight @ Xanadu

Ok this is maddd random, but I listen to Sirius radio, so I hear all the "exclusivity" 1st! (not sure if thats the word, but I heard homeboy say it and I liked it...)

So anyway, I heard this song by 2Pistols (no comment on the name lol)..."She Got It", and I thought it was wack, but for the sake of the party tonight, I'm kinda feelin' it...
In all seriousness, tonight (4.10.08) at Xanadu, The Brownstyle Models host "She Got It" with Music by DJ KI (one of our favs of course) and DJ Donjuan.

Ladies free before 11pm and they're claiming drink specials all night, but they said to ask the bartender...so basically that sounds like if you're looking right, you're gonna get a special. If not, you're paying full price...so ladies flaunt what you got and get some specials lol!

Spring Break at Xanadu

Can I just start off by saying that us "9-5" folks don't get a spring break?!? (Sorry I felt like I needed to get that off my chest...and now back to our regularly scheduled program)

Get ready for the Spring Break Part 2: Spring Fashion Edition of Xanadu Thursdays on (3.27.08). Music by none other than DJ KI (aww one of our favs) and DJ Donjuan. This event is 21+, and they are advertising it by saying that this is "strictly for my upperclassmen." (since I graduated, does that mean I'm not invited???)

Ladies free before 11pm. Sorry fellas, there's no mention of you, BUT there are saying there will be a Bikini Fashion Showcase so I'm thinkin' you'll prolly wanna be there anyway :)

One more thing...they are suggesting that you wear spring colors (cute for the ladies, but if the fellas are tryin' to get a girl, I would suggest you don't get too "springy")

Ok see you there... (if they let me in without college ID)

Recap: More Moet.....More Strawberries

Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jumpoff!!! I know that was kind of whack, but I do have a lot to catch you up on.

On February 8, 2008, Kian, Floyd, Sean Breeze, and the Alpha Iota Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi hosted More Moet.....More Strawberries at Xanadu (10 N Calvert Street). What can be said about this party??? I think the title says it all! Who doesn't like Moet? Who doesn't like strawberries? Especially if it is free!

This party was a definite crowd pleaser. If you were not there you missed out! Although the venue was changed a week before the party Xanadu proved to be the perfect venue for this event.

Check out the pics below for the highlights!
Fab! Chicks in Full Effect

Packed from wall to wall.

Gettin' it in!

Mario Showed Up at Xanadu Thursdays

So if you didn't head down to Xanadu (10 S. Calvert St.) with the rest of Morgan, Coppin, BCCC (I could go on) then you missed out on Baltimore's own Mario. Y'all know we love some Mario in Baltimore (even though he did go to Milford). He stopped by, giving Xanadu just a little bit more credibility on college night. See pics below:

Saturday Night | Vin | Xanadu

It's a sad weekend in Bmore...ask me why?....some of y'all may know him as Lyrical the Lyricist but he's Jo'rell to me. He's one part of RS Entertainment and on Saturday (1.12.08) they are throwing a going away party in his honor at Vin lounge (One Joppa Rd.) Shout out to D.Steele who's also leaving the East Coast!

Anyway, it seems like it'll be the only place poppin' off this weekend, especially since everyone had a good time on New Year's. Let's just hope Brian don't get on the 1's and 2's. Don't worry, they have DJ P Drama in the building!

---

Also, shout out to my girl Lana who shows The Fam Empire mad love. She's got a whole lot of events going down this weekend, but Saturdays at Xanadu (10 S. Calvert St.) pop off.

You never know who you might run into there...I heard Frank Ski was in there partyin' last Saturday (w0w, remember him?). Anyway, if you're looking for models and bottles go to Xanadu on Saturday (1.12.08).

There's a lot going on this weekend so make sure you go somewhere!!!

Shout out to the AKAs, my sorors the Deltas, Sigmas and Kappas who all should be celebrating their Founders Weekend!

Saturday at Xanadu | Sunday at Red Maple

So everyone is getting in the holiday spirit around Baltimore and Xanadu (10. S Calvert St) on Saturday is no different. With Konan and KIS hosting, they have over $1000 (A G?!) in cash and prizes. I know that's right! You can easily get a gift here and re-gift it and give it to someone else...

They are also giving away free kisses (uhhhh) from KIS Models...I'm sorry but with diseases and sickness going around this winter season this may not be the best idea...sounds like too many fluids.

-------------------------------------------------

Speaking of re-gifting, The Kool Kidz presents "The Gift" at Red Maple (930 N Charles Street ) on Sunday night, Dec. 23.

They'll be giving out Sean Jean Unforgivable (has anyone smelled this?! Does it smell good??) to all the ladies. I'll take three; one for me, my momma and my sis!! ;) Thanks Floyd!

Oh yea...beware, they have a dress code that leaves even me confused. Just be really, really fly...or email Sean Breeze ;)

Recap: Saturday Nights at Xanadu

Most normal people were deterred by the wind and the rain Saturday night. But a few of us crazy partyers still wanted to go out. I was at Xanadu (10 S. Calvert Street) celebrating my friend Adriene's birthday.

I must say, Xanadu needs to do a little bit more than stringing some old Christmas lights on the railing to get in the Holiday spirit, but DJ Rod Madd-Flava and Nikki from 92Q did a great job getting people in the mood.

The drinks are strong and EXPENSIVE ($14 for my beloved apple martini!) but at least when you left you were warm enough that the rain didn't bother you.

VIP areas offer bottle service.

With many flat screen TVs, this place is great for watching the game...
(not saying anyone wants to watch the Ravens play...they suck!)

Peep the dingy Christmas lights on the right side...

Going Out? Xanadu Thursdays | Eden's Lounge

If you're crazy and want to go out tonight (it's really too cold for all of this but whatever) then head down to Xanadu (10 S. Calvert Street). Ladies in free before 11 and they have drink specials...although the bartenders be rude in there (at least that's what a source told me!)

---------------------------------------------------------

And one of my favorites, Eden's Lounge (15 W. Eager Street) is hosting the 2nd Annual Toy Clothing and Food Drive. To get in you must bring a toy, clothing (new only) and non-perishable food items. All donations will go to A Place for Children & Social Service Administration. That's wassup!

Oh yea, get there early this event only lasts until 9 PM. People gotta' work in the morning.
