Because according to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the drama series, "The Wire", is a semifinalist for the nomination of Best Drama Series at the Emmys which will televised live on ABC on Sept. 21. The five final nominees in each category will be announced on July 17, so cross your fingers as our favorite Bmore series goes up against major dramas such as Boston Legal, House, Lost, Grey's Anatomy.
