Who knew? Plies is coming to Bmore. Not that I am a fan or anything (he is one of the WORST rappers out there...that's my opinion only!!!), but some of you are so I gotta let you know who is coming to town. 

When is he coming? He 's scheduled to perform at Sonar (407 E. Saratoga St.) on Friday, August 1.

For all my 70's & 80's babies, KRS-One will be performing live at Sonar (407 East Saratoga Street) on Thursday (5.22.08) at 8pm. This event is 18+ (can any 90's babies name one KRS-One song?)

Soul Music Kitchen Series presents...Lyfe Jennings with Grammy nominated Eric Roberson at Sonar this Friday (4.4.08).

Rep Ur City at Sonar Tonight

Our favorite college promoters, The Union is throwing Rep Ur City tonight at Sonar (407 E. Saratoga Street). It sounds like a lot of fun with three rooms playing hip-hop (DJ KI will be on the 1s and 2s...he still hasn't impressed me but we'll see), go-go and Baltimore Club and finally a reggae room.

And did I hear Mambo Sauce may be in the building?! Stop it! (I've been in DC too long!)

The "sexiest" lady reppin' her city gets $500 so if you want to get momma and dem some bombin' Christmas gifts, you better get here! Also, the best dressed guy gets $100...so you can't beat that!

It's getting chilly out there and they do have a coat check, which is more than I can say for Red Maple last Sunday.
