Recap: Battle of the Beltway at Ray Lewis' Full Moon

(Full Moon from the 2nd Floor)

Last night my favorite Bmore Girls (along with DCFab!) headed down to Ray Lewis' popular establishment Full Moon (2400 Boston St) to watch the "battle of the beltways" (the Redskins vs. Ravens for all the slow folk). Since it was my first time attending I expected to be completely packed with patrons since this was after all a huge game and it always seemed crowded in pictures...well that's what I thought anyway.

Upon entering there were only a handful of people occupying a couple of tables. It was extremely quiet for a game night and we almost considered leaving to go some place else, but decided to ride it out. We were escorted to the second floor where booths and tables aligned the walls. The one thing I did love is that each booth had its own flat screen tv, which was great so that you weren't straining your neck to watch the game.

While the drinks were strong I was not impressed with the over priced menu or its presentation. The food menu was basically a flyer that was laminated and the drink menu was even worse!

I ordered a BBQ sandwich with a side of fries ( since they consider themselves a BBQ joint), but I was disappointed. The food wasn't warm enough and definitely not that good! However, we still managed to have a great time since the Ravens pulled a W over the Skins!
