Ok...I get it. There's a million places to be, see, and all that good stuff, but the question is...are all of these places worth your time? If you aren't sure, let the good people at TFE (aka me lol) help you find some hot spots over this long weekend:
1. 4th of July @ The Inner Harbor (E Pratt & Light St) - festivities begin at 3pm with performances and patriotic music. Fireworks begin at 9:30pm
2. Independence Day Block Party (32 Market Place) - A beach party in the middle of the city featuring fireworks at Babalu Grill, drink specials, DJ's, massages, and best body contest
3. Howard County's Independence Day Festival (10300 Little Patuxent Parkway) - music, food, and fireworks starting at 4:30pm. Free parking near the Merriweather Pavilion
4. 4th of July on the roof of the Maryland Science Center (601 Light St) - as corny as this sounds, from 7-11pm you can enjoy an open bar and picnic-style food for $50 (it may sound pricey, but I've seen people spend more to get saucy before...). Click here for more info
5. Towson's 4th of July Parade(Bosley Ave & Towsontown Blvd) - The parade starts on Friday @ 10:30am which will include military units, floats, and bands. Fireworks will proceed over the Loch Raven Academy
6. Fireworks at the Baltimore Museum of Industry (1415 Key Hwy) - take the family on a picnic while enjoying a tour of the museum from 6-10pm and fireworks. But be warned...they are chargin $40 per car, $35 for members, and $5 per person at the gate (this is for my wealthy folks that wanna throw some museum culture into their weekend.) But still, I saw some free fireworks in Harlem last week on 150th & Amsterdam (our hosts were later interrogated by the cops but it was still free)

Remember: you have an extra day to be fab so enjoy!
