Saturday 8.30.08 Summer Black Party

By now, you all know of Soul Five Saturdays at Timothy Deans Lounge located at 1717 Eastern Ave. This Saturday is not your normal Soul Five party. This week is all about BLACK! A potential black president, supporting black businesses, being active in the black community, so you get the point right. Attire is simple - fly and fab in all black! This is definitely the best look for Saturday night!

7.13.08 | Crabs and Coors Light

Did somebody say crabs? I haven't had any all summer!

 

 Azikiwe Deveaux is doing it big for his birthday so join him along with Events4GoodPeople and Coors Light for Crabs and Coors at Captain James Crab House (2127 Boston Street) from 5 pm- 9 pm.

Events4GoodPeople, Ciroc, & Fashion Icons present a special VIP Posh Thursdays this Wednesday (7.3.08) at PUR Lounge (2322 Boston St) Since there's no work on the 4th, enjoy an hour of free Ciroc vodka from 10-11pm. They are even serving "The Diddy" which is Ciroc and lemonade (take that take that take that...)

Events4Good People & The Coors Light Models host...The Grand Finale of Fish & Grits this Friday (5.23.08) @ Timothy's Dean Bistro (1717 Eastern Ave.) For the grand finale, the kitchen will stay open till 1am!

Darn Bmore...we gotta find another soul food spot after a long week of work now! We'll miss you!

Young professionals in Baltimore are always in search of young, professional, upscale events to attend, as they seem to be a rarity in the area. I've been receiving a TON of promotional fliers for "Posh Thursdays" at PUR nightclub (2232 Boston St.), so I decided to scoot on over there to see if it's all it's proclaimed to be. Events4GoodPeople said it started at 6 pm for happy hour and went until the club closed, but the club didn't get bumpin' until after 11 pm. There were plenty of attractive women in the place, but the man-to-woman ratio left a little to be desired (FELLAS, where are you?!). After 11 pm, the club became more crowded with a seemingly professional crowd and good music to get the party going. There are 3 levels so there's plenty of space to mix and mingle with other partygoers. Shout out to one of the owners, Marty. Also, local celeb Timothy Dean (Timothy Dean's Bistro) was in the building, who seems to be a regular at PUR.

All in all, I say try "Posh Thursdays" at PUR, I think you'll have a Fab! time.

Blue Fly at Red Maple

This Thursday (4.3.08), join Flywire as they help Events4GoodPeople celebrate their one-year anniversary at Red Maple. They're saying that the color this Spring is blue...and I do agree (I've always been a fan of Tiffany blue...hint hint hunny lol)

Doors open at 9pm and ladies wearing shades of blue are FREE before 10:30pm....and the lady & gentleman wearing the best "blue fly" ensemble will be featured as "Sharp Dressed & Pretty Fly" in the Flywire Magazine (exposure people...jump on this opportunity!)
